Review: Natalia

Natalia Natalia by Belle Winters
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Rushed

3 Star Kindle Unlimited Read
Don't get me wrong it was a good read. It just felt as if the author rushed through Bull and Nat's story. The history was highlighted to the point that we got the drift. But I just couldn't feel the love Bull had for Nat. His love felt like a guilt trip love. Plus he was much to rough on Nat, it felt borderline abusive rather than an all consuming love. Plus, I thought Bull would get revenge on their father's after what they did and put Nat through. I was disappointed that he didn't.

If there will be a fourth in the series, I feel like books 1 and 2, I like it better the second time around.

Very well written. I was hooked by the first chapter. The whole time I yelled at my kindle... communication, communication, communication, communication communicating!!!!! Right from the very beginning they wouldn't have missed out on so much. But that's ok, in the end it all worked out. Oh, and I absolutely love the epilogue!

Review: GATOR: Wolves MC

GATOR: Wolves MC GATOR: Wolves MC by Faith Winslow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Star Kindle Unlimited Read
I fell for Gator before I was half way through the first chapter. The young man was just surrounded by Shitty mates and Shit adults.

I also fell for Jessica (JT), with the first words she spoke to Gator. She took to heart not judging a person by their trappings.

These two were perfect for each and were each other's first everything. Then the adults interfered. Life went on and they were separated.

Fait stepped in- well a murder happened 12-years later and they crossed paths. The flame still burns, but can the differences in life situations and locations keep them apart.

Maybe Faith Winslow will revisit this couple down the road and they will find themselves happy together.

Review: Lords of the City - The Complete Series

Lords of the City - The Complete Series Lords of the City - The Complete Series by Alice Ward
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4Star Kindle Unlimited Read
I opted to read this for the never before released prologue/prequel and epilogue.

Prologue/Prequel
It cleared up exactly who No all is for the reader. It answered why all the characters knew what he is. However, the ending left me still with questions that I'm hoping the rest of the series and or the never before published epilogue will answer......

On a side note, it seems that all the "alpha" men in this series thus far also read as though they are spoiled brats that need some manners.

Forever Epilogue
I have to admit, the "Forever" epilogue was more than worth it. I'm so glad that Naill was redeemable in the end. More than that, I Gladstone not only found love and learned to love; but he found peace and contentment.

Not to mention, this short epilogue redeemed the last book in this series.

Ward definitely ended it on a high note!

Let's get something straight right from the start. A 2 Star rating means that the book was okay. The writing was on par with the rest of the series. I just didn't feel this story. Something was missing. It has me in such a reading funk I can't place it right now. I also have the box set to read the extended epilogue "Forever" I'm hoping it will bring me out of my funk.

Hot Woman Wanted: A Billionaire Romance Hot Woman Wanted: A Billionaire Romance by Tia Siren
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Star Read:
Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!

The Hot Shot The Hot Shot by Kristen Callihan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Now this was a great fun cover to cover read. It was packed with just the right amount of angst that drives a couple to work there Shit out. The only pitfall in the entire book was there wasn't enough appearances from the other characters. Hopefully, the next book in the series won't forget about the other characters that we love.

Review: Rush

Rush Rush by C.A. Harms
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love series, sometimes I just can't get enough. Now add brother's to the mix and you have a series that I tend to go a bit Cray Cray for. However, just because it's brother series doesn't mean it any good. But, that's not the case for RUSH!

I was drawn into the tale of a woman desperate to escape her abusive mate. Who doesn't love a heroine strong enough to leave her abuse? What's more heroic, she was able to finally let down some of her guards and fall in love with a man who loves her for her.

This doesn't mean the road was smooth sailing. This relationship had its ups and downs. The road was obviously rocky as you have one hiding their past and another digging into it.

In the end these to loveable characters get their HEA. What's best is this is not the last we get to see of this couple, as the brother's stories continue seeking a HEA and lots of grandbabies babies for the mom of the super hot alpha males.

A Thousand Boy Kisses A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just got around to reading this last night because I couldn't sleep. It was a really good book that allowed me to purge all my backlogged tears. I think I loved it so much that I'm giving it to my 16-year-old to read and will read it again myself.

5 Star Read:
My absolute favorite and will read again and again. I strongly recommend! It has outstanding qualities. The characters are wonderful and surprising and multi-dimensional. The writing is luring, engaging, and well-crafted enough to keep me interested from cover to cover and beyond. The plot is astonishing with twists and turns weaved into a well thought and planned story. There’s no pretense and romance was well balanced and done entirely correctly with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors and incredible, undeniable chemistry. Predictability is at an all-time low. With the exception of series based books that follow the same path but are just as good. Overall, Favorite, must read again, recommend!!!

Mister Moneybags Mister Moneybags by Vi Keeland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Such a fantastic read. It had bursting with laughter from the very beginning. It seems the old saying might be true, the children pay for the sins of the father.

Granted, I found a lot to laugh at however, there were some pretty "dramatic" moments. The connection these to shared even had me blurring the line of right and wrong.

Lucky this doesn't have a tragic end as "Forbidden" does. It seems there life is all rainbows compared.

Review: The Player

The Player The Player by K. Bromberg
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I found myself enjoying this read. The forbidden romance between a hot and talented therapist and an overly sexy ball player.

The male lead Easton is not an alpha in any sort. He was just a guy wanting to play the game he loved. Lost and alone, clinging to the memories of an easy but hard child hood he finds love and comfort with is trainer Scout and the lines quickly become blurred.

Everyone Scout has ever loved has left her. She finds herself falling fast and hard for Easton but she doesn't have the time or the heart to spare. She has already lost her mother and brother, her father is dying, and she is trying e win the bid for the contract for the team. She can't risk falling for Easton only for him leave.

Just when Easton has fully recovered and convince Scout he is going nowhere. Scout opens her heart and let's him in. Together they find the strength to let the ghosts of the past rest and jump head first into a full blown love affair.

It's at this time when everything is perfect, the ball is dropped with one phone call.

Book two can't get here fast enough!

Damaged Damaged by R.R. Banks
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 Star Kindle Unlimited Short Read
This is my first read from author R. R. Banks. This was a short fast read with plenty of extra stories after to keep your reading frenzy going.

Please remember to toggle or advance to the end of all kindle unlimited book before returning so that authors get full credit and are paid for their work.

I really liked the storyline. I found some parts a little unsettling due to the lack of communication on the victims behalf. I feel that a woman who has enough guts to walk out of her family gathering and the man that abused her for year would have enough courage to voice her displeasure that her family took her abuser side on the way out.

In addition, once she discovered her family was not concerned for her well-being nor even looked for her, the strong female she was asserting herself to be would have cut the apron strings.

Furthermore, after speaking to the man she loved to his face in such a matter. A well visit should have taken place and she should have left with the man she loved and loved her.

It was these reasons and the rushed ending that took it from a 4 Star rating to a 3 Star rating for me.

Review: Sapphire

Sapphire Sapphire by Kasey Millstead
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I read this as title ad Beneath your Beautiful<\b>. Apparently, the author did some edits to the original publication of this book.

As always I have favorites when it come to the types of books I read. Series are one and add alpha males with romance and ding ding, you have a winner. Well usually, that is.

Something just didn't sit right with Elliot to me. He seemed as if in the future he could become an abuser. He was so quick to anger that it disturbed me. Elliott is definitely not my book boyfriend type.

Regardless, I enjoyed the story enough to stick with it so I could meet the other men of Steel Investigation. I plan on continuing with the second installment with edits titled All of Me.

Side Note:
I have not read the book that this has been compared to. However, with several reviews boasting similarities and I did enjoy this, Rock Chick, if the title is correct will be a near future read.<\b>.
