Bookaholics 2017 Read, Review or Rate

Code Name: Ghost Code Name: Ghost by Natasza Waters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Star Read:
I absolutely loved it! Ghost/Thane is my first book boyfriend of 2017! Is it to much to ask for my own Ghost/Thane??

Definitely moving straight on to book two in the series. I'm just glad I didn't pass up opportunity to read Natasza Waters!

My absolute favorite and will read again and again. I strongly recommend! It has outstanding qualities. The characters are wonderful and surprising and multi-dimensional. The writing is luring, engaging, and well-crafted enough to keep me interested from cover to cover and beyond. The plot is astonishing with twists and turns weaved into a well thought and planned story. There’s no pretense and romance was well balanced and done entirely correctly with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors and incredible, undeniable chemistry. Predictability is at an all-time low. With the exception of series based books that follow the same path but are just as good. Overall, Favorite, must read again, recommend!!!

Code Name: Kayla's Fire Code Name: Kayla's Fire by Natasza Waters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Star Read:
Natasza Waters did it again. If I thought Ghost was my boyfriend in the first book, my ovaries exploded in this installment. Ghost was patient, kind, understanding, and selfless. How I would love to make this fictitious character a real man and all mine.

You don't know how many times I shook my kindle and growled in exasperation at Kayla's antics. At one point when I learned along with Thane her lie by omission, I seriously though she was beat over the head with a stupid stick (zero pun intended). After the Hell she endured, why stay tied to the past? I would give a rat's mass how it affects the person of her torment.

Luckily someone bought her a brain because she came to her senses in the knick of time.

In closing, I have to say, I love the Natasza Waters open the path for the next book in the series wetting your appetite for more.

Mace and Nina. Wow what can I say...? I will be a forever fan of Ghost but you have to give it up for Mace. I just was not expecting such a turn of events. Ugh, and that ex of Nina's. Definite life time garbage award winner. Hands down this is one great series. 2017 has started off with a hit!

Code Name: Luminous Code Name: Luminous by Natasza Waters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Star Read:
The best book in the series thus far. Not only is a new romance budding between Tinman and Lumin; we have the pleasure of watching our favorite past romances mature and grow.

This installment voices some of Americans worst fears on terrorism. So while this is a fictional account of terrorism the reality of a possible situation can bring forth your worst nightmares.

In the thicket of the crescendo Alpha One experience a heavy loss that touches each member heavily and will have you reading Forever and Ever, Amen book 5 in a melancholy state of mind.

Prepare yourself for this one and the next, have plenty of Kleenex on hand. Once you get past the shock, your going to need them!

Code Name: Forever & Ever Code Name: Forever & Ever by Natasza Waters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This had to be one of the hardest books to read in the series thus far. It was an emotional journey throughout. I cried silent mournful tears, page after page. That was until the end. I broke down in a torrent of tears.

Dirty Quarterback Dirty Quarterback by S.J. Bishop
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 Star Kindle Unlimited Read:
I did like the leading lady at all. A mother with a sick child would conquer mountains come hell or high water to get what her child needed to be healthy. If my child were dying and her father was standing before me regardless if his bitch girlfriend was there or not I would spill to save my babies life.

However, the author redeemed the story with the ending. I enjoyed it.

It has many redeeming qualities. The characters were likable at best neutral at worst. The writing was much better than expected. I developed an interest that withstood to the end. The plot was nice, somewhat original or had its own unique flair. The writing was good, and the pretense wasn’t half bad, the romance was simmering with few exceptions. The male/female lead showed hints of abuse both verbal and/or physical or signs of spot-on or forced chemistry. It was a tiny bit predictable. Overall, liked it enough, entertaining.

The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all.
