Review: Moon Dance

Moon Dance Moon Dance by J.R. Rain
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Star Kindle Unlimited and Free Read:
Very entertainingI was able to read this through the PRIME Lending Library and honestly hope the rest of the series is available through the PRIME Library or kindle unlimited as I find that I would love to continue the settings.

I found Detective Moon to be very entertaining. The entire tale had a comical feel to it with some dramatic undertones of life tossed in.

Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!

Review: Flash Bang

Flash Bang Flash Bang by Meghan March
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Star Read:
First off I have to thank my girl for gifting this series to me. I happen to enjoy reading apocalyptic stories. What is even better is that Flash Bang<\b> isn't you average apocalypse story.

FB begins with an apocalyptic event, but that is not the focus. It more of trials and tribulations tale of a young woman, who has just been hit with a Shit storm at work, now must travel by foot to get home to her family.

Upon her travels, she witnesses a woman being brutally attacked by wood dwelling red necks. She's unable to assist the woman because she finds herself on the run from the same inbred sexual deviants, where she stumbles upon her future full of sexual gratification with not one but two men.

Oh, yes there is more to the story, lots more. For example, I love Ro's quick wit smart tongue. Her defiant nature. The love and determination she has to make it to her family.

I do feel that as the reader I need more from the individual characters. The only character I had a tiny bit of interest in their outcome was Ro. Trust me it was a tiny bit. The apocalyptic tale itself felt like a character and the story as a whole kept me reading until the cliff hanger ending, I was expecting.

Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. Review: The Boss

The Boss The Boss by J.L. Perry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Star Read:
J.L. Perry did an excellent job at keeping me entertained throughout. There was just enough sexual tension and falling for the one you shouldn't that made this such an enjoyable read. Can't wait to read more from this author.

My absolute favorite and will read again and again. I strongly recommend! It has outstanding qualities. The characters are wonderful and surprising and multi-dimensional. The writing is luring, engaging, and well-crafted enough to keep me interested from cover to cover and beyond. The plot is astonishing with twists and turns weaved into a well thought and planned story. There’s no pretense and romance was well balanced and done entirely correctly with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors and incredible, undeniable chemistry. Predictability is at an all-time low. With the exception of series based books that follow the same path but are just as good. Overall, Favorite, must read again, recommend!!!

Review: The Room Mate

The Room Mate The Room Mate by Kendall Ryan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Star Read:
I absolutely love it when a book just grabs hold of you and sucks you in with it's dialogue that you have to keep reading more and more. The chemistry was so explosive not to mention the back and forth banter, it was practically a cover to cover read in no time, that left me wanting more. I'm thrilled to no end to learn that this is a first in a series and can't wait for more!

Awesome job Kendall Ryan!

Flawed Flawed by Tracy Wolff
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was disappointed that I missed the third book in this series but I fell head over heels for this installment.

I learned that the brother that was redeemable from the beginning of the series, not only redeemed himself. But gets his own HEA.

Can't wait to read what I missed from book three. Actually, I would love to read the series as a whole again.

Review: Separation Games

Separation Games Separation Games by C.D. Reiss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Star Read:
For all that is decent and readable.... DO NOT START THIS SERIES WITH THIS BOOK!!

The whole time I was reading it felt like I was missing a huge part of the story. Especially, when they referenced an event I didn't read about. I thought I had a damaged book from Amazon. Turns out... nope, I just started with the wrong book.

However, the book was still an excellent remand. Despite reading the second book first... I'm still reading the first book.

Review: Lost in Flight

Lost in Flight Lost in Flight by Neeny Boucher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Star Read:
This is the story that I had the up most pleasure reading. It brought a torrent of my own feelings to the surface. I can't say that I ever recall a fictional story ever doing that before. It was as if I was reading a reflection of my own story with different elements. Only, I didn't get my HEA.

I have never been on such an emotional roller coaster as I was with Dina and Riley. I laughed, I cried, I cringed, I ranted, I raved, I sang, and I swooned with these characters. Their journey from the past to the present was just as much mine as it was theirs.

I honestly started with Back of Beyond in the series. Also, I was shocked to learn that this is Neeny Boucher's first novel. She knocked it out of the park! It very much complementary to Back of Beyond and should be read after to understand it better.

My absolute favorite and will read again and again. I strongly recommend! It has outstanding qualities. The characters are wonderful and surprising and multi-dimensional. Review: A Christmas Kiss

A Christmas Kiss A Christmas Kiss by Susan Hatler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Star Read:
As always I love everything I read from Susan Hatler she is among my favorite authors. I enjoyed how easy flowing this read was. Unfortunately, I read this series out of order and also missed a couple. However, the best thing is that this each book can be read as an individually. The worst thing is that I want more of this store. It was just too short.

Review: Enlightenment

Enlightenment Enlightenment by Liz Keel
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

2 Star Read:
Enlightenment is the first book in The Driel Trilogy. I was drawn to the book because I fell head over heels for every story I have read that involves elves. However, I didn’t find myself covered in the warm fuzzes while reading. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t dislike Enlightenment nor I didn’t love it.

I felt short changed in end. The characters had potential to become something more but they were flat. I think I would have loved to spend more time on developing Thea, Eli, Isaac, and the other elves. I would have enjoyed building a connection with the character instead of the rushed pace push to move from one scene to the next.

Overall It was okay but didn’t like the book all that much. However, the characters were borderline from unlikable to a few exceptions some were likable at best neutral at worst the plot was a bit poor. The writing was much better than expected with a few exceptions. I developed some interest in the book but not enough to sustain me but I withstood d to the end. Being part of a series, at least one thing peeked my interest to continue (the hope of character and plot development). Even though the plot was somewhat original or had its own unique flair, the romance was for lack of a better description flawed on more levels than one. The male/female leads had forced to very little chemistry, etc. Everything was too easily predictable. Overall, ok maybe some redeeming value!

The plot was nice, somewhat original or had its own unique flair. The writing was good, and the pretense wasn’t half bad, the romance was simmering with few exceptions. Review: Hollywood Prince

Hollywood Prince Hollywood Prince by Kim Karr
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Star Kindle Unlimited Read:
Honestly, if you know me, even if through social media such as: Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Smashwords, or Blogger, you know my first reasons for being attracted to this book. Can I get a "hello, can I buy you a drink?" From Mr. Hottie abs on the cover. Second, goes the title. Well, since I'm after my own Prince, I thought, what the Hell and went for a trifecta, the synopsis. "Sold!" I even failed to check out the author or the blurbs from the lucky ARC reader's.

Kim Karr did not fail me, again. It appears that I have read Karr before and loved every minute of it! Holiday Prince was no exception. I admired the fact that the author stayed focused on the budding romance versus getting pulled in by the limelight that the male lead was a child star and the child of former stars.

So what does that leave with? Just man and a woman. The hot young man looking to find his success in life and tired of the
meaninglessness panty dropping strings of pointless hook-ups. The woman, seeking her Prince in a world full of toads and frogs.

The question being is will she be able to look past his bad boy panty dropping reputation to the heart of a man who just wants to find a real love. And will he be able to put is untraditional family bonds aside and go for the woman who has truly taken his heart?

Will this frog become her Prince or will she lean towards the true life Prince she met before the world as she knew it was turned upside down when the web of lies and deceit came crashing down all around her?

This is definitely a must read for anyone who love a good lighthearted romance with njust a touch of angst. I absolutely loved the story and hope that one day, Silver's
Playbook will find its way into my life and I wind up with a man to love me through thick and thin while dropping my panties in passion.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Star Read:
Natasza Waters did it again. If I thought Ghost was my boyfriend in the first book, my ovaries exploded in this installment. Ghost was patient, kind, understanding, and selfless. How I would love to make this fictitious character a real man and all mine.

You don't know how many times I shook my kindle and growled in exasperation at Kayla's antics. At one point when I learned along with Thane her lie by omission, I seriously though she was beat over the head with a stupid stick (zero pun intended). After the Hell she endured, why stay tied to the past? I would give a rat's mass how it affects the person of her torment.

Luckily someone bought her a brain because she came to her senses in the knick of time.

In closing, I have to say, I love the Natasza Waters open the path for the next book in the series wetting your appetite for more.

I absolutely loved it! Ghost/Thane is my first book boyfriend of 2017! Is it to much to ask for my own Ghost/Thane??

Definitely moving straight on to book two in the series. I'm just glad I didn't pass up opportunity to read Natasza Waters!

My absolute favorite and will read again and again. I strongly recommend! It has outstanding qualities. The characters are wonderful and surprising and multi-dimensional.
